Sweet Stamps Embossing Challenge

Today is our 19th challenge on the Sweet Stamps blog. Be sure to check out the blog to see all the great cards that the Design Team and others that have entered, have made!  Anyone can enter,
but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance  to win a $20 shopping spree.
Check the Sweet Stamps blog for details.
For this challenge I used ink on vellum then I used black embossing powder and heat embossed for the black lines. I dry embossed the white areas on the vellum. I also dry embossed the white highlights on the roses. This is my beginner attempt at stitching on paper. I need more practice!

DL101 English Tea Party Doily Die

Top Tip Tuesdays - tip: when you stamp on vellum, color the image on the back. Its so much more forgiving and you see a nice soft color on the front.

I think your stitching looks great. That's the trouble when we've made something...we are looking at it as though through a magnifying glass..others see the whole effect...and it's stunning believe me. Love the black doily and all your details. Hugs lin

Beautiful card! Love red and black together!! So pretty! Great stamps used as well. Great beginner attempt at stitching, that is something I would love to get into but haven't done very well with it. Like the added flourish as well!
