Flowers Flowers Flowers

Sweet Stamps Design Team
Challenge #3 - Flowers
Today is our third challenge on the Sweet Stamps blog. Be sure to check out the blog to see all the great cards that the Design Team and others that have entered, have made!  Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree. Check the Sweet Stamps blog for details.

For this challenge I did a parchment crafting technique. When using this technique on vellum, you get white raised details where you have embossed, which makes the image very delicate with a lacy feel. I usually recommend coloring the image from the back of the vellum, so you don't color over the white lines created from embossing. To learn more watch Sweet Stamps owner Stacey's video, on parchment crafting.

I admire anyone who can do parchment, it's something I haven't tried as I would be terrified, it's a bit too delicate for me and my clumsy hands...lol
Your work is beautiful, I so admire you
Thank you for the inspiration

Jackie, these are both beautiful. I love your coloring on the pansy layers frame, and the dimension you added by popping up the flowers and bow on the basket are awesome.
